About Laurie
Laurie (Burke) Boice
Architectural Interior Designer
With over 30 years of diverse experience, Laurie approaches each project with passion and integrity, while developing a trusting relationship with her clients.
Formally trained with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Laurie excels in space planning and drafting, with a focus on custom millwork, lighting, and color. By working directly with architects, builders, and tradespeople throughout the project, she creates interiors that are not only functional but also cater to the needs of the most discerning clients.
Customizing designs that architecturally complement her clients’ homes, Laurie takes the design process further by filling the interiors with a truly classic, yet casual style. This style results in comfortable, inviting rooms that can lend themselves to all occasions. Her meticulous attention to detail has garnered numerous accolades, including three Gold, one Silver, and three Bronze Awards for “Design Excellence,” along with a “People’s Choice Award.”
Over the years, Laurie’s work has been featured in various publications, books, and show homes. Her portfolio includes both residential and commercial projects in Florida, New Jersey, Manhattan, Maine and Bahamas. Laurie currently resides on the West Coast of Florida with her husband Larry.
Since 1991, Laurie has been a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is a Certified Interior Designer recognized by the State through the NJ Board of Architects and is a long-time member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
